Of course, the PR on this type of thing can always be turned into a positive (and the “banned” Lane Bryant commercial was the subject of numerous news and talk show reports that showed the spot anyway).
One of the things I really like about this is the marketing aspect of this product, and someone’s ability to look at a very common item (read: commodity) … and turn it into something unique and press worthy.
Whether this will turn into more profit for Kimberley Clark (the company that makes the Huggies brand) remains to be seen.
However, be on the lookout for the new “denim” … coming soon to a market (and a baby’s bum) … near you!
